Steps to assign roles to users in AIV application

There are two ways in which a user can assign user roles in the AIV application (Note: Roles can be Assign to one user at a time):-

  1. By clicking on the button located at the bottom most toolbar.
  2. By right clicking any existing user and select Assign Role as follows:-



Now perform the following steps in order to create a new role:-

  1. Click on Submit button using one of the methods mentioned above which will open the following popup.



  2. Assign a role to user, say Administrator from a list of available roles.
  3. In case of any further help, the user can click on the icon to access the AIV help documents.
  4. Finally, click on button to assign the role to the user.
  5. Login with the user credentials as follows to check details after the role has been assigned, For instance if user is assigned Administrator role he will be able to access all the sections of AIV application.



  6. If the user is not satisfied and wants to cancel the create request, he can do this by clicking on the cancel button next to submit or by clicking on button next to the icon.

In this manner, you can assign a role to the user in the AIV application.
