Introduction to Department section
Department enables the user to create new Departments in the AIV application.
This also enables the user to perform login with using department credentials such as department code and Admin name instead of generalized user login.
In this manner admin user can see all the information pertaining to a certain department and can operate all the sections of the AIV application by logging in to that department.
Department tab can be accessed from the main menu. Department and other sections under the Administration tab are only visible if the appropriate privileges have been assigned to the logged in user, please contact your administrator if you facing difficulties accessing the sections under the Administration tab.
The following screen describes the Department Section:-
Department tab contains following sections:-
- Name:- Name of the Department.
- Department Code:- Code which identifies a Department and is used when logging with Department credentials.
- Admins:- Name of the Admin user which is used along with department code to log in with Department credentials.
- Department Links:- This is empty by default.
