Moving Reports/Folders in the Reports section of AIV application
1. Click on Hamburger Icon.
2. Click on Documents and Click on Reports.
3. There are two ways in which a user can move a report in the AIV Application.
4. By clicking on the move icon located at the bottom most toolbar.
5. By right clicking the report you want to Move.
6. We will use the Customers Details report.
7. Click on the Move icon on the toolbar located at the bottom of the report page, As shown in figure below:
8. Select the Customers details report.
9. On clicking the Move icon, the following screen will be displayed.
10. The default name will be Copy_Customers details. You can provide your own name while moving a report.
11. In order to provide move destination, you can select any of the folders present in the popup or can create a new folder by selecting the folder where new folder must be created and clicking on Create Folder as follows:
12. Here we have created a folder named explain_move within root where we will move our Copy_Customers details report. Select explain_move from the list shown below:
13. In order to assign privileges to the report, click on the privileges tab next to the move tab. By default, copy current privileges and visibility checkbox will be checked which will retain the same privileges and visibility of the original report in the moved version.
14. If you want to assign privileges, uncheck Copy current privileges and visibility checkbox.
15. The user can select other users/roles with whom the moved report will shared from the list of available users/roles or search them in the search user/roles bar.
Note: Visibility is used to mention who all can view the report and is of following three types: -
• Private:- It means only the current user / actual owner can view the file.
• Internal:- It means all the users within the organization can view the file.
• Public:- It means anyone can view the file.
16. Click on Move.
17. Now, you can see your Copy_Customers details report will be moved in explain_move folder, As shown in figure below:
